深中通道通車之后，中山仍有一條高速公路在建，那就是東部外環(huán)高速。
After the ShenZhong Link opens to traffic, there is still one expressway under construction in Zhongshan?— the Eastern Outer Ring Expressway.
香山大橋是中山東部外環(huán)高速公路項(xiàng)目的控制性工程，全長(zhǎng)1776米，主跨880米，采用上下雙層、雙向八車道標(biāo)準(zhǔn)設(shè)計(jì)。
The Xiangshan Bridge is the main project of Zhongshan's Eastern Outer Ring Expressway. It has a total length of 1,776 meters, with a main span of 880 meters. It is designed as a double-deck, eight-lane (two-way) bridge.
香山大橋是目前國(guó)內(nèi)跨徑最大、橋面最寬的公路用雙層鋼桁架斜拉橋，可以說(shuō)是國(guó)內(nèi)公路橋梁中的“頂流”，它的塔高跟深中通道深中大橋一樣，都是270米。橋梁上層是東部外環(huán)高速，下層是一級(jí)公路民古路。
The Xiangshan Bridge is currently the largest-span and widest double-deck steel truss cable-stayed bridge for highway use in China. It can be regarded as a "top-tier" structure among highway bridges in our country. The height of its towers is 270 meters?— the same as the main bridge of the ShenZhong Link. The upper deck of the bridge will carry the Eastern Outer Ring Expressway, while the lower deck is a Class 1 Highway — Mingu Road.
目前香山大橋建設(shè)進(jìn)展順利，斜拉索安裝和鋼桁梁吊裝施工正同步緊鑼密鼓地進(jìn)行中，預(yù)計(jì)今年10月底實(shí)現(xiàn)主橋合龍，展望2026年，東部外環(huán)高速一期工程將完工通車。
At present, construction of the Xiangshan Bridge is progressing smoothly. The installation of the cable stays and the hoisting of the steel truss girders are being carried out simultaneously in an intensive manner. The main bridge is expected to be joined by the end of October this year. Looking ahead to 2026, the first phase of the Eastern Outer Ring Expressway is expected to be completed and opened to traffic.
