The 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament and Zhongshan Dragon Boat Culture Month will be held during May and June. From 8 June to 9 June, a warm-up exhibition race will take place in the waters of Qijiang River between Qijiang Bridge and Guangming Bridge. On the Dragon Boat Festival Day of 10 June, the Invitational Tournament is going to start in the waters of Qijiang River between Dongming Bridge and Kanghua Bridge (the city’s Dragon Boat Culture Park). 60 teams from 11 cities of the Greater Bay Area will come together to compete on the Qijiang River with the Traditional Dragon Boat Men’s Division, International Standard 22-person Dragon Boat Men’s Division, International Standard 22-person Dragon Boat Women’s Division and other competitions.
Along with the Dragon Boat Tournament, a series of events with the element of the Year of Loong and the culture of the Dragon Boat, including lantern fairs, culture exhibitions, music festivals and food carnivals, will be held at the same time.
2024年粵港澳大灣區(qū)（中山）龍舟邀請(qǐng)賽暨中山市龍舟文化月活動(dòng)在5月至6月期間舉辦。其中 6月8日至6月9日，主辦方將在岐江橋與光明橋之間的岐江河水域范圍舉行龍舟賽預(yù)熱表演賽；6月10日端午節(jié)當(dāng)天，將在東明橋與康華橋之間的岐江河水域范圍（市龍舟文化公園）舉行龍舟邀請(qǐng)賽。屆時(shí)，來(lái)自粵港澳大灣區(qū)“9+2”城市的60支龍舟隊(duì)伍將齊聚一堂，競(jìng)渡岐江，其中設(shè)立了長(zhǎng)龍男子組（傳統(tǒng)龍舟）、國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)22人龍舟男子組、國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)22人龍舟女子組等競(jìng)賽項(xiàng)目。
除了舉辦龍舟賽，本盛事還結(jié)合龍年主題和龍舟文化元素，組織了彩燈、展覽、音樂(lè)、美食等九大活動(dòng)。
